Tawonga School Library
Library books are used for weekly buddy reading sessions. Older students use reference books stored in the small library in the administration building. Each classroom has appropriate books for students daily take home reading.
The M.A.R.C. Van, based at our school, visits 13 of the smaller rural schools in the area providing important library resources. Julian Collins, the teacher/librarian who drives the van, teaches each class a library lesson and allows the children to borrow books every second Tuesday.
Discounted children's books can be bought through the school at various times throughout the year. The selections are described in Book Club Leaflets that will be sent home with your child. Sales of these books help to fund our own Library.
